Robert N. Hoyt

Chief Executive Officer

Robert's primary responsibilities are general business administration and management. Rob was born in 1960, and began in the glass industry in 1977 as a part time glass shop "maintenance engineer.” Shortly after starting in the trade, Rob was placed in a retail glass replacement truck and began learning the industry full time from an installer’s perspective. Rob joined the Glazier’s Local Union 636 from Los Angeles in 1980 and was launched into the world of monumental commercial building construction, and he has been involved in this portion of the glazing industry ever since. Rob has held positions as field installer, project foreman, general superintendent, and Vice President of Operations at various companies throughout his career.

Rob thoroughly enjoys hunting, SCUBA diving, motorcycle riding, and a host of other outdoor activities. Rob is a former member of the Board of Directors for the San Diego Chapter of Associated Builders and Contractors.

Rob’s favorite glass? The rear-view mirrors on his dual-sport and custom street motorcycles.
