Challenge

The cast in place concrete structure produced widely varying rough opening dimensions. This created a need to accommodate hundreds of different storefront dimensions which were not aligned with the contract documents.

Solution

Division 8 recommended varying only the end bay dimensions, in conjunction with variable perimeter caulk joint dimension in order to minimize the impact of added labor costs.
